Technically this quote is from the 1847, when Charlotte Brontë published Jane Eyre. I, however, heard it for the first time just the other day in the 2011 movie version of the book. Swoon. I’ve never heard a more adequate description of the overwhelming feeling of love. Now I’m going to HAVE to read the book.
