Pool Party Food to Please a Crowd

| | Updated:

We're well into summer, the official season of sunshine, beach volleyball and lots of outdoor parties with friends! Our pool area has been in the midst of a lot of revamps and overhauls, so it's about time to host another get-together to give our loved ones the chance to soak up the season in style with pool party food that'll please the masses.

Crowd-pleasing pool party food that's easy to make and outdoor-friendly

We've gathered our favorite pool party foods from around the web, and there is definitely something to keep even the pickiest eater noshing all afternoon.

Pool Party Food for Everyone

Gluten-free? You got it. Small sandwich bites? On the menu. Looking for a themed treat? Check out this special dessert shaped like a giant beach ball! Our guests have a plethora of options to choose from.

Mini Black Bean Cakes
Pepperoni Polenta Pizza Bites
Beach Ball Fruit Pizza
Spring Herb Quinoa Patties
Plantain Sandwiches
Salted and Seasoned Grilled Beef
Open Watermelon Sandwich
Chocolate-Hazelnut Arancini
Mini Bacon Guacamole Cups
Crispy Cauliflower-Carrot Fritters
Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus
Rice Krispies Tangy Watermelon Treat
Cheese Stuffed Peppers
Pear Slices topped with Crispy Pancetta, Goat Cheese and Honey

I love that most of these pool party foods are quick and easy to prepare ahead of time or just throw on the grill as guests arrive. With my pregnancy progressing and the two toddlers being as rambunctious as ever, I don't have a ton of time to mess around in the kitchen. Plus, Nate's schedule has been a little nuts lately so I don't always get a lot of warning before a party just sort of happens. I need pool party food that's ready to go in a flash, and ideally stuff that both kids and adults will eat (I'm not a short-order cook, guys). My next party spread is definitely going to feature those prosciutto-wrapped asparagus spears, quinoa patties and dessert arancinis. And maybe something in the way of a bacon cup…because everything is better with bacon. They sound fancy, but these are all super simple dishes.
